I hit up some estate and garage sales this past weekend, and now have a great new stock of vintage goods for the shop (I’ll be updating soon). I usually end up grabbing some stuff for myself, too, or decide later something I intended to sell is just too good to give up. I got this sweet bookshelf for cheap, and after cleaning it up, I decided I just couldn’t let it go.

I’ve been wanting a change in the living room and this was a perfect chance for a little switcheroo. I’m still working on styling it, the lamp will change, and I might have to shift the map frames, but it definitely has more personality than before.

I also got this chair and think it will be the next free:DO, since I picked it up for $4 (close enough!).

I already stripped off the awful quilted satin upholstery, and I think it’s going to be really cool when it’s done!
